I finally got the pooh & friends cart @ Michael's yesterday:) (it was on sale for $39.99, I've wanted it forever to make large cut outs for my sons room:) I'll be playing around on DS with it later this week and I'll share whatever I come up with , as always. I'm still organizing my ribbon, I've come up with my own solution and I'll blog it with pix asap:)

DS VS SCAL... MY OPINION

 So, Marc (My significant other), just got me SCAL today! I've wanted it for soooooo long. The timing of it was perfect. I was actually using DS earlier today and 3 times I tried updating my firmware, 3 times it screwed up on me :( I had to make that skeleton step card for him without DS even though I'd downloaded the file, my cricut wouldn't cut ANY DS files because my firmware wouldn't update properly. :( But it's working fine with SCAL! (I don't get it!) I even clicked check for updates (in scal) and it said there were none I needed. I'm officially confused! I have all of the support updates , and LEGAL versions of both Scal & DS so I know that wasn't my problem. I'm actually wondering If I might have to uninstall DS and re-install it to make it work:( I love scal very much, But I REALLY love my DS because It helps me familiarize myself with the carts and the functions of my Cricut Expressions machine. I'm having a blast with scal, but I have so many carts and cut files I want to actually make USE of them.

If anyone else has ever had this problem, please let me know how you fixed it.

New Cricut Forum Additions @ Baw Craftworx

I've added a complete Forum just for Cricut related material @ Baw CraftWorx! Tonight I'll Be Adding The Video Sub-threads & Adding Links From My Search Results to all manner of  fabulous informative videos. Originally, I'd planned to embed my faves, but that mission would've take me a few months to go through all the amazing vids and decide which ones to post . So Ive decided on plan B above instead, which prevents any copyright infringements.

Please note it is not my intention to steal anything, or plagiarize anyone, my intent is simply to share what I have learned from these vids. After all No one can teach them better than the ones who taught me, Right? I haven't been blessed with the patience or the skills required to teach with the grace these women have, otherwise, I'd just be making my own vids lol. I've learned so much from vids on youtube that I feel compelled to pass it all on:)

That said I've made a TON of work for myself and I best be off to get it done:) Massive love, squeakage, and blessings to everyone who makes these vids on youtube, those with the patience to teach, and those with the desire to learn. xoxoxoxo
