I'm having soo much fun with the Pink Elegance Kit & Pink Elegance Quick Pages (Creations By Rachel) that I purchased at Plucky Pear Designs the other day the Kit is on sale for $2.00 and the QPs are on sale for $1.00. :) Here are 2 of the qps I used to digi-scrap my best friend Alice I used both the qps & additional elements from the kit:)... Please note I did NOT design these kits, Rachel did, I tagged them under Archangels Designs to keep track of my projects that I've done:) I only added embellishments here & there (Also created by Rachel) and photos of my Bestie and the SISTER graphic (which I found on google images search engine:)

My RockStar Scrapbook Page

This one wasn't a quick page but I used digi elements in it from various freebies found online (see below). This is my oldest son Ron, who has a Beatles Tribute band called Revolution:) I'm so proud of him for following his dream and his heart:) I edited this in 2 programs first PSP9 to layer it properly, then in my prehistoric img editor called Ulead iphotoplus4 lol (which is how I applied the different colors and fonts etc. That said here's the list of goodies I used to make it...
  • KaylaAimee_PaintedPolaroidFrames
  • Fonts: Guevera (for the word rockstar) & Engravers Old English BT (For Ron 2010)
  • Bg Paper = RusticFlowersDJ I Can't find them online anymore :(
  • Heart_Button & Lg_Heart Frame From "Sweet Sugar" Mini Kit
  • Rockstar skull/star/ribbon word art from CBR_Sk8terBoy_freebie

Changing Photoshop brushes into Paint Shop Pro Brushes

^EUREKA!!! MOMENT^

Ok so I have hundreds of photoshop brushes that I want to be able to use in PSP9 (Paint Shop Pro9), (since I own the full version of PSP9 and don't own a full version of Photoshop :). So I googled a question that thankfully had already been asked & answered and learned how to Change Photoshop brushes into Paint Shop Pro Brushes. Heres my research...

Question: Will Photoshop brushes work on Paint Shop Pro?

Answer: Yes and no. You can not import a Photoshop brush directly into Paint Shop Pro, but there is a way around it, though it involves a lot of work.

Download ABR VIEWER (http://abrviewer.sourceforge.net/) and install it.

Changing Photoshop brushes into Paint Shop Pro Brushes

Open a .abr brush into it (that's a Photoshop Brush) and Export as thumbnails. Open those thumbnails (now .png images) into Paint Shop Pro and, on each one, go to File > Export > Custom Brush. Save each one as a differant name.

And there you go! You have Photoshop brushes that work in Paint Shop Pro!

Well, I've been busy brainwashing myself with Tim Holtz techniques & demos for 3 days straight lol, so now I'm on a life mission to acquire all of his products:) I can't wait to get my mitts on them. Soooo Madly in Love with Tim (not in a crazy stalker way, in an appreciative & gratitude way lol just to be clear. His creations and his products make my life a lot easier. One day I'll make it to CHA to check out his collections and it would be very awesome to meet him in person. He's an amazing person. For those of you who haven't had the good fortune of being spelled out by Tim Holtz, I have a few links for you...

Update

Wow its been a while since I've posted anything, World Record for me. I've been really busy making Mini albums for my Soul Sister Alice:) Just went to Michaels again today and got 2 180 pg Recollections All Girl Paper Stacks. LOVE them Should've got 3 lol, but I used my coupon to get an extra roll of Atg refills I use the general purpose ones only because they are 1/2 the cost of the acid free ones and I have to say I've never had any problems with it.:) I got 4 pkgs this time instead of my usual 3, that should last me an extra hour loooooool. I go through that stuff like a maniac. I'm seriously considering buying a shipping crate of it or at least a big box full, to last me a week or two!!! if anyone knows where I can order it in bulk quantities hook a sister up xo.

My youngest son and I stopped for pizza on the way home he was an angel at Michaels today, didn't fuss much at all, I take over an hour to make up my mind there and for a 3 year old, he has the patience of Job:)
